Stand-alone type for easier setting
BikeTower is the simplest bike stand without any cumbersome legs, but it requires the room shape that the ceiling must be horizontal and the height must be lower than 3.1 meters.
In addition, you need to adjust the pillar length precisely every time you change the installation points.
However, the stand-alone floor mount type design doesn't matter such room shape. If the floor is flat and level, you can set PairStand at anywhere you want without any modification or adjustment.
Unique K-shaped leg design allows you to set PairStand just next to a wall, so you can save space maximumly.

Modified low-profile type hook
The hook for holding the top-tube has just been modified on its design to be low-profile type.
By expanding the area of the hook where touches the frame directly, it becomes gently supporting the bike. The hook is soft foamed urethane padded to avoid scratching bike finish.
The new low-profile hook design also allows you to hook the bike much easier than before. You don't need to lift up the bike so much.
Each hook is angle and position adjustable to fit any bike frame perfectly.

new stainless band clip

Changed from separated nut to welded nut
On the latest PairStand (ver.2.1), the stainless band clip has been modified.
On the previous version, the rectangle nut was separated from the stainless band, so it was possible to lose the nut while assembling. And once you had removed the nut from the band, it could be possible to insert the nut in wrong direction (the nut is not square, but slightly rectangle) then you cannot assemble it correctly.
On the new version, the nut is welded on the band end to be much easier for assembling.
The previous band was universal on both the upper and lower pillar, but the new band has specific size and it's no longer universal. There are two different sizes; 40mm for upper pillar and 45mm for lower pillar. BikeTower contains each one.
Please be sure about this size difference, especially when you need to order one for replacement.
The larger 45mm size one has an engraved mark as "45" on the band surface. The smaller 40mm one doesn't have any engraving.

Important Notices
* PairStand holds up to 2 bikes. Due to the K-shaped leg design, you are not allowed to mount bikes on the backside, otherwise PairStand will fall down.
* PairStand is designed to be placed just next to a wall, so if you place PairStand in the room center, it could be possible to fall down backward. You should place PairStand close to the wall. If you need to place the stand in the room center, we suggest you to choose P-700X instead of PairStand.
* It is technically possible to change PairStand to Closet-Cyclist by replacing the bike cradles to the hooks. But P-500AL body cannot have the Rear Support Leg, so be sure the stability must become weaker than P-600AL.
* To place a bike on the upper cradle, your room's minimum ceiling height is A) the height from floor to the upper cradle hook's bottom (1.95 or 2.03 meter) plus B) the height of your bike from the top-tube bottom to saddle. You should have extra 50 mm or so for easier hooking. Depends on your room size, you may have to remove the saddle.
